The two day South African Football Association (SAFA) Congress held in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, has resolved to expel the four suspended members of the national executive committee.
The four members have been accused of violating SAFA’s policy and bringing the organisation into disrepute.
They are also blamed for causing the abandonment of SAFA’s NEC meeting in March.
SAFA’s first NEC meeting of the year in March had to be abandoned. The warring faction consisted of members that were demanding change in SAFA’s leadership and wanted current president Danny Jordaan to resign.
The four expelled members are Monde Montshiwa, Gladwin White, Lebogang Riet, and Bhuda Mathathe.
A scuffle broke during the NEC meeting and the four members were ordered to appear before the disciplinary committee.
But SAFA vice president, Linda Zwane, says the four have now been expelled.
