Stellenbosch FC played hosts to Singida Black Stars from Tanzania in their last group match of the CAF Confederation Cup in Cape Town.
Both sides were just honouring the fixture as they had nothing tangible to play for since they were mathematically out of contention for the quarterfinal berth.
Chances were few and far between in the match as it ended goalless, with Stellies reduced to 10-men on the stroke of halftime as defender Asekho Tiwani received his marching orders following a second bookable offence.
The side from the Cape Winelands finished at the bottom of Group C with just five points from six matches.
