Ghana have appointed Carlos Queiroz as head coach, ahead of theFIFA World Cup in the Americas later this year.
Queiroz, who coached Bafana Bafana in the early 2000’s, will make his fifth consecutive World Cup appearance.
He left his role as coach of Oman last month, after the side failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Ghana were left without a coach, just 72 days before the World Cup kick-off, after parting company with Otto Addo.
This follows friendly defeats against Austria and Germany in March.
