Australia beat South Africa by six wickets with 103 balls remaining in group one of the super sixes stage of the International Cricket Council’s Men’s under 19 World Cup in Windhoek, Namibia.
The Proteas were put into bat first and were bowled out for 118 in 33 overs. Australia scored 122 for 4 in 33 overs in response for the six wicket victory, which upholds their flawless display at the world cup.
The result means that South Africa cannot progress to the semi-finals of the tournament, despite still having to face Sri Lanka on Thursday.
