Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, who have been at war with the regular army for more than two years, have announced that they have agreed to a proposal for a humanitarian truce put forward by mediators. Meanwhile, Yale researchers released a report on Thursday stating that new satellite imagery had detected activity “consistent with mass graves” in the Sudanese city of El-Fasher, more than a week after mass killings were reported in the area.
