Build­ing Auro­ra’s Future

Africa Agen­da has been select­ed to be the spot­light non-prof­it that will help show­case this year’s Build­ing Aurora’s Future. Build­ing Aurora’s Future is in its sec­ond year and was start­ed by Auro­ra City Coun­cil mem­ber Ryan Fra­zier as a way to bring togeth­er a com­mu­ni­ty that “lives, works and plays together.”

This year, the focus is edu­ca­tion and will involve back-to-school sup­ply give­aways, a job fair, health fair, free hair­cuts, free food, free mas­sage ther­a­py, live music, and much more.

“The event is tai­lored to pro­mote busi­ness­es in the area, pro­vide a plat­form for orga­ni­za­tions pro­vid­ing resources to the com­mu­ni­ty, and help to pre­pare our chil­dren for the school year. The event will offer a com­plete 360° view on sta­bi­liz­ing home life,” said event orga­niz­er Nneka Woulard of Wells Far­go Bank in a press release issued July 1.
For Africa Agen­da, it is an oppor­tu­ni­ty to present our orga­ni­za­tion to the pub­lic, and speak about what we are doing as an orga­ni­za­tion.  We are is invit­ing every­one to come out and be part of this event.
