Senegal report shows WWII massacre ‘premeditated’ by French colonial forces

The 1944 massacre of African soldiers by French forces in Senegal was “premeditated”, covered up, and far deadlier than claimed, with up to 400 killed, according to a new report submitted to Senegal’s president. The 301-page report also urges France to formally apologise to the riflemen’s families and communities.
