Nigeria: At least 315 children and teachers kidnapped in second school abduction this week

A Christian organisation said on Saturday, 22 November, that 315 students and teachers had been seized the previous day in Nigeria’s second mass school abduction within a week, heightening security concerns in Africa’s most populous nation. The early-morning raid on St Mary’s co-educational school in Niger State followed an attack on Monday in neighbouring Kebbi State, where gunmen abducted 25 girls from a secondary school. Gabrielle Nadler reports.
