Massive crowds turn out to mourn Odinga in his western Kenyan heartland

Tens of thousands of mourners gathered Saturday to see the body of Kenyan politician Raila Odinga in Kisumu, the western Kenyan heartland of his Luo tribe. Security was tightened after at least five people were killed during mourning ceremonies in Nairobi this week, when police fired live bullets and tear gas on Thursday and a stampede erupted in a stadium on Friday.
