Mali: Jihadists’ fuel blockade paralyse Bamako

An al-Qaeda-linked group, JNIM, has blockaded fuel supplies in Mali’s capital for two months, crippling Bamako and pressuring the military government. Though the militants are active near the city, analysts say they currently lack the intent or capability to seize control.
