Main opposition barred in Guinea-Bissau vote as President Embalo seeks second term

Bissau-Guineans head to the polls on Sunday for presidential and parliamentary elections. President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, a 53-year-old former army general seeking a second term, is backed by a political coalition of more than 20 groups, but the main opposition party has been barred from running.
