Colorado Black Round Table Holds Annual Summit on October 15th – 19th

The Colorado Black Round Table’s annual Gaining Ground event takes place from October 15th to October 19th. This yearly event brings together the state’s Black community and the public for a conversation around equity issues. We’re thrilled that Africa Agenda, alongside dozens of other community organizations, their leaders and representatives, were invited.

Speaking with Denver 7’s Danielle Kreutter recently, leader John Bailey said, “The summit this year will focus on equity opportunities and community benefits.”

Bailey said the gathering is an opportunity to seek solutions to the issues impacting Black communities and how to go about working together.

He added that he’ll use the time together to challenge the community and tell them they have an obligation to lead, especially during the times that we’re in right now.
