Cameroon: World’s oldest president sworn in for eighth term

Cameroon’s Paul Biya has been sworn in for his eighth consecutive term after winning last month’s presidential election. Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the other presidential candidate, maintains that he was the rightful winner of the poll and has accused the authorities of fraud – allegations they have denied.
