Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has roped in Botswana national football coach Morena Ramoreboli as his assistant.
South African Football Association (SAFA) and the Botswana Football Association have confirmed that Ramoreboli will leave his position with the Zebras to join Mosimane’s technical team ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
When Mosimane was unveiled as Bafana coach last week, he confirmed long-time lieutenants Kabelo Rangoaga and Musi Matlaba as members of his technical team, but revealed that another assistant coach was still to be appointed.
Meanwhile, the Orlando Amstel Arena in Soweto will host Bafana Bafana’s first 2027 AFCON qualifier against Guinea.
The match, Mosimane’s first back in charge, is scheduled for September 26.
